In December 2006, Artex D&T achieved the 2006 Business Excellence Awards from the Vietnam National Committee of International Business Cooperation, the Trade News, and the E-Trade News. The award was presented to 115 Vietnamese enterprises of all business lines in recognition of their export achievements via a 6-month survey conducted by the above organizations, in cooperation with Vietnamese commercial sections in foreign countries.

Enterprises that received merit awards, including those exporting textiles and garments, footwear, foodstuff, agricultural products, seafood and handicrafts, had an export turnover of at least $500,000 last year, provided the best export marketing solutions and exported unique and highly competitive goods.

Some other businesses, including Simexco Daklak, Fimex Vietnam, Intimex, Viet Tien Garment, Thai Tuan companies, Vinafood 2, Viet Nam Rubber and Viet Nam Oil and Gas corporations, received merit awards for exporting high-value products last year.

The ceremony was held at Melia Hotel, Hanoi, which was also live reported on VTV1 (national television).
